1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

Aerospace SEZ in Belgaum inaugurated

An Aerospace SEZ located at Hattaragi, near Belgaum in Karnataka, has been inaugurated on 14 November 2009.

The SEZ has been promoted by Quest Global, an aerospace engineering and manufacturing company. The complex spread over 300 acre has been set up at an investment of Rs 150 crore.

It houses an engineering services facility, a precision machining unit and Aerospace Processing India, a JV between Quest and Magellan Aerospace, a processing facility.

The company announced signing of three MoUs; one with Belgium based Societe Anonyme Belge de Constructions Aeronautiques to manufacture metallic parts and assembly work for the Airbus A350. A second MoU with Magellan to evaluate setting up a dedicated facility to manufacture components and sub-assemblies for aero engines and the third MoU with Farinia Geie, a France based foundry and forgings company to establish an aerospace forging facility.
