The Aligarh-Palwal Expressway, a major infrastructure project between Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, is set to revolutionise travel by connecting both states in just 30 minutes.
Spanning about 72 km, the expressway will ease pressure on crowded NCR highways and provide quicker access to Delhi, Gurugram, and Noida. Built by the NHAI, the project is expected to be completed by 2027, significantly improving commute times for lakhs of people. The expressway will bypass slow and unsafe routes like Khair and Jattari, offering a safer, faster journey. It will feature bypasses, flyovers, and a new Yamuna River bridge to facilitate smooth traffic flow.
With an estimated cost of over Rs 1,300 crore, the expressway will connect with the Yamuna and Eastern Peripheral Expressways, enhancing access to Noida Airport and the NCR region. Once operational, the expressway will cut travel time from 90 minutes to just 30 minutes, making it a vital addition to the region’s transportation network.
