Amber Group of Industries has announced a significant expansion in Punjab with the establishment of a state-of-the-art research & development (R&D) Centre at Rajpura, involving a Rs 500 crore investment.
The new facility will focus on designing, validating, and testing next-generation HVAC products for both domestic and international markets. Punjab's Cabinet Minister for Industries & Commerce, Sanjeev Arora, welcomed the move, highlighting that the project will create around 1,000 high-quality work roles and strengthen the state's position in advanced engineering and product design.
Amber Group, a leading manufacturing conglomerate with an annual revenue of Rs 10,000 crore, operates across sectors like PCBs, air conditioners, power electronics, railways, and defence. CEO Jasbir Singh emphasised Punjab's strong combination of skilled talent, robust infrastructure, and investor-friendly policies, which drove the decision to expand the company’s R&D footprint in the region. This development aligns with Punjab’s vision of becoming a hub for innovation-led manufacturing and global exports.
