Real estate developer Anant Raj has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Andhra Pradesh government to invest Rs 4,500 crore in developing advanced data centre and cloud services infrastructure.
The investment, to be executed through its subsidiary Anant Raj Cloud (ARCPL), will be completed in two phases. The Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board will facilitate coordination and approvals to ensure timely execution. The project is expected to generate around 8,500 direct and 7,500 indirect employment, significantly strengthening the state’s digital ecosystem. This expansion comes on top of Anant Raj’s existing 307 MW data centre capacity under development.
The company currently operates 28 MW of IT load at facilities in Manesar and Panchkula and aims to scale its total capacity to 307 MW across Manesar, Panchkula and Rai by FY32. It also targets reaching approx. 117 MW of installed IT load by FY28. The move reinforces Anant Raj’s long-term strategy to grow its data centre footprint nationwide.
