Ansal Properties and Infrastructure (Ansal API) intends to develop the Phase
II of its hi-tech city adjoining Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh.
The company has earmarked Rs 4,500 crore to develop the Phase II of its
integrated township - Megapolis - at Dadri covering 650 acre. Under this phase,
the company is likely to offer 1,900 plots and build nine million sq ft each of
housing and commercial space.
The company is likely to approach the Uttar Pradesh Government for signing
the development agreement for the Phase II of Megapolis.
In 2008, Ansal API had bagged the hi-tech city project from the state
government. The proposed project spread over 2,500 acre can be extended to 9,000
acre. The hi-tech city is to have an education city, a medicity and one 18-hole
signature golf course. The company is likely to construct four hotels in three
and five star categories, comprising about 250 rooms in each hotel. It will also
house five shopping malls.
