Aquarelle India is planning to invest Rs 100 crore to set up a new manufacturing unit outside Bengaluru, Karnataka.
The Mauritius-based company is engaged in manufacturing men’s casual shirts.
The new unit will spread over 5.5 acre and will feature 850 buttonhole sewing machines.
As of now, the company has four units in Bengaluru; two in Jigani industrial area and one each on Bannerghatta road and Hennur road.
The company presently has the capacity to produce 3.5 million shirts per year and plans to double the capacity within two years.
