Belgium-based Aliaxis' Indian subsidiary, Ashirvad Pipes, plans to invest approx. Rs 400 crore to establish two greenfield manufacturing facilities in Chennai and Hyderabad by FY27.
The plant in Hyderabad is expected to be operational by FY26, followed by the Chennai plant in FY27. The investment will boost Ashirvad's production capacity from three lakh tonne to four lakh tpa.
Ashirvad, a leading manufacturer of PVC, UPVC, and CPVC pipes and fittings, currently operates seven plants in India, including three in Bengaluru.
The company projects its revenue to grow from Rs 6,500 crore in FY24 to Rs 9,000 crore by FY27. Additionally, Ashirvad recently signed an MoU with Jadavpur University for research in new molecule development. Presently, India contributes about 17 percent to Aliaxis’ global revenue.
