Azad Engineering has secured a USD 53.5-million contract with GE Vernova’s Steam Power Services, covering the supply of advanced airfoils for nuclear and thermal power applications.
The company has signed a six-year agreement, extending until 2030, marks a major step forward for Azad Engineering in strengthening its role in the global power generation supply chain. The deal involves the manufacturing and delivery of complex rotating and stationary airfoils used in advanced nuclear, industrial, and thermal power systems. The Hyderabad-based precision engineering firm announced that this partnership reinforces its long-term strategic relationship with GE Vernova, underlining its expertise in critical, high-precision engineering applications.
The agreement follows the recent launch of Azad’s 7,600 sq. mtrs. lean manufacturing facility, which is tailored to support high-volume production requirements.Further, this development highlights Azad’s growing prominence in advanced industrial manufacturing and its ability to meet global standards for critical infrastructure components.
