PTC Industries has received a purchase order from the Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE), under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).

The order is for the manufacturing of single crystal ‘ready-to-fit’ turbine blades and vanes. This strategic contract highlights PTC's advanced manufacturing infrastructure in India and the expertise of its UK-based subsidiary, Trac Precision Solutions, to ensure seamless delivery. The order pertains to post-cast operations required for the production of high-precision turbine blades, which will meet GTRE’s specifications. The project is set to be executed within the agreed timelines, in alignment with GTRE’s needs. 

This contract represents a significant step for PTC Industries in enhancing its presence in the aerospace and defence sectors. The execution will leverage advanced manufacturing infrastructure in both India and the capabilities of the UK subsidiary.
