BEML has been awarded an additional order from Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation (BMRCL) for the supply of additional trainsets as part of the Phase II expansion of the Bangalore Metro Rail Project.
The order is valued at Rs 414 crore, further strengthening BEML’s position as a key supplier in India’s metro development. This contract highlights BEML’s continued involvement in enhancing urban mobility infrastructure and supports the expansion of the Bangalore Metro, which is crucial for improving public transport and reducing congestion in the city.
