The Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has secured the largest-ever order worth Rs 10,800 crore from the Nuclear Power Corporation of India (NPCIL).
The company has bagged engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) order of turbine island for six units of 700 MWe.
Six orders, received from NPCIL, envisage setting up four units of 700 MWe at Gorakhpur, Haryana and two units of 700 MWe at Kaiga, Karnataka.
