BSES Ltd (now part
of Reliance Group) has invited international competitive bids for
retrofitting a flue gas desulphurisation (FGD) unit to be
retrofitted to BSES's existing 500 MW coal-based thermal power
station at Dahanu in Maharashtra.
The FGD plant is
expected to have a sulphur dioxide removable efficiency ot more
than 90 per cent. The FGD plant would be based on either sea
water scrubbing or on wet lime stone scrubbing technology.
Request for
Proposal (RFP) would be available between 5 January 2004 and 12
January 2004, with the last date of submission being 12 March
2004.
