Bajaj Auto Ltd (BAL) is likely to invest around Rs 100 crore for expansion of
its plant at Waluj in Aurangabad in Maharashtra.
The proposed expansion is expected to be completed by March 2010. Currently,
the plant manufactures 30,000 vehicles per month which is likely to be increased
to 35,000 vehicles per month.
BAL is likely to export 50 per cent of its total capacity from the Waluj
plant.
