Bajel Projects has been awarded an ultra mega EPC order for power transmission lines, as detailed in the letter of award (LoA).
The order, announced in the company’s press release titled “Bajel Projects Secures Ultra Mega Power Transmission Order in India,” has been placed by PowerGrid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) on behalf of their special purpose vehicle, Vindhyachal Varanasi Transmission Limited. The contract,involves the Transmission Line package TL02 for the 765 kV Vindhyachal Pool–Prayagraj D/c line-Part II.
This project is part of the Inter-regional (NR-WR) Transmission System strengthening initiative aimed at relieving the loading of the 765 kV Vindhyachal–Varanasi D/c line under the TBCB route. It covers the construction of a 765 kV transmission line spanning 87.3 kilometers, with a completion timeline of 21 months from the issuance of the Notification of Award. This award reinforces Bajel Projects’ presence in India’s high-voltage transmission sector.
