Bengal Aerotropolis Projects (BAPL) today announced its entry into the affordable housing segment.
The company has associated with Larica Group to roll out a 10,000 unit budget housing project. The project will be spread over an area of 10.56 acre within the residential precinct of Sujalaam – The Sky City in Durgapur, West Bengal.
The residential project will be implemented in phases and about 2,000 units are to be developed in Phase–I.
The project will include amenities like green open space, elevators in each of the residential towers, recreational facilities like that of a club, swimming pool, and indoor and outdoor sports infrastructure.
West Bengal is estimated to have a current urban housing shortage to the tune of 13 lakh units.
BAPL is engaged in the identification and development of Aerotropolis projects in India and is presently developing India’s first aerotropolis in Durgapur, West Bengal.
Larica Group is engaged in various activities like construction, architecture, hotels, export & import, and manufacturing of embroidered garments.
