Bhartia Infra Projects has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) for a major road infrastructure project involving the four-laning of a critical section of NH-37, spanning the states of Assam and Manipur.
The scope of work includes the development of a 13.09-km stretch from Silchar (near Budha Nagar) at existing km 233+000 (design chainage 24+560) to Jiribam at existing km 212+060 (design chainage 37+650). This segment of NH-37 is to be upgraded under the NH(O)-NE initiative and will be executed on a hybrid annuity mode (HAM), under Package-II of the project.
The company’s winning bid stands at Rs 589 crore.
