The 1.4-km under-construction flyover at Bhosari on the Pune-Nashik highway
in Maharashtra is likely to open for traffic in April 2011.
The cost of the flyover at Bhosari has escalated to Rs 99.58 crore. So far,
the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has spent an estimated Rs 96
crore for the flyover in the past two years. However, a few other allied works
which will be taken up, will need another Rs 3.58 crore.
The PCMC is likely to complete two allied works - the widening of the service
roads on either sides of the flyover and storm water drains; and the final
asphalting of the service roads using the bitumen concrete method.
