Water Resources Department (WRD), Maharashtra has invited bids for the design, provision, and installation of an air-inflated rubber dam for the Bid Chichghat Lift Irrigation Scheme on the Kanhan River.
The project will be located near the aqueduct of the Pench Right Bank Canal at km 22. This includes not only the rubber dam but also its sub-structure and all necessary allied works. The project aims to improve irrigation efficiency and water management in the region. With an estimated cost of Rs 75.52 crore, the contract is expected to be completed within 33 months. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to enhance irrigation infrastructure in the state, benefiting agricultural productivity by ensuring a stable and controlled water supply for local farms.
The closing date for submitting bids is 07 January, 2026.
