Karnataka Power Corporation (KPCL) has invited bids for the comprehensive restoration and life extension of Unit 1 (210 MW) of the Raichur Thermal Power Station (RTPS) located in Shaktinagar, Raichur district.
The scope of work includes dismantling damaged structures and equipment, design, engineering, manufacturing, quality surveillance, inspection, and testing at the supplier’s facility. It also covers supply, packing, transportation, insurance, unloading, storage, preservation, and site handling. Additionally, the project encompasses replacement, restoration, civil works, erection, commissioning, trial operation with steam blowing, and performance testing of mechanical, electrical, control & instrumentation systems, and other civil and structural components.
The contract, valued at Rs 250.72 crore, also includes a warranty period for all supplied systems.
The bid submission due date is 04 April, 2025.
