NMDC has issued a tender for the installation of a blast furnace (BF) gas pipeline and gas mixing station, including piping for the mixed gas heating system (MGHS) at its three million tonne per annum (MTPA) integrated steel plant located in Nagarnar, near Jagdalpur in Chhattisgarh.
The contract, under the second phase of the coke oven battery (COB-Phase II), will be executed on a turnkey basis. This initiative is part of NMDC’s ongoing efforts to enhance operational efficiency and optimise fuel usage by integrating mixed gas heating technology into its steelmaking process. The scope of work includes the design, supply, fabrication, erection, testing, and commissioning of the BF gas pipeline and associated systems.
The closing date for bid submission is 10 October, 2025.
