NMDC has floated a tender for the installation of a blast furnace (BF) gas pipeline and gas mixing station, including associated piping for the mixed gas heating system (MGHS) of the coke oven battery (COB) Phase-II.
The order will be executed on a turnkey basis at the company’s upcoming three million tonne per annum (MTPA) integrated steel plant at Nagarnar, near Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh. This tender is a key step in NMDC’s efforts to operationalize advanced infrastructure for efficient energy utilisation within the plant.
The gas mixing station and MGHS are critical to enhancing process efficiency, enabling sustainable fuel use, and reducing environmental impact through optimal gas management. The turnkey contract scope will include design, engineering, procurement, supply, installation, and commissioning.
Bidders must submit their proposals by 30 September, 2025.
