BigBloc Construction has entered into a joint venture agreement with the Thailand-based SIAM Cement Group (SCG) for setting up a AAC blocks unit.
BigBloc has already acquired land for the proposed three lakh cubic metre per annum facility unit. The greenfield unit to be located at Kapadvanj, Kheda district of Gujarat will manufacture aerated autoclaved concrete (AAC) blocks and panels.
This is the first venture of SIAM Cement in India, where it will hold a 48 percent stake in the joint venture.
