Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has inaugurated a 230/33 kV gas-insulated sub-station in Ganesh Nagar, part of the North Chennai Development Scheme, constructed by TANGEDCO at a cost of Rs 110 crore.
The event took place during his visit to the Kolathur Assembly constituency. Alongside this, CM Stalin inaugurated a water dispensing unit in a social justice hostel and engaged with students by distributing sports materials. Several dignitaries accompanied him, including Ministers K.N. Nehru, S.S. Sivasankar, P.K. Sekarbabu, Siva V. Meyyanathan; Chennai Mayor R. Priya; MPs Kalanidhi Veeraswamy and R. Girirajan; legislators Thayagam Kavi, A. Vetriazhagan, Joseph Samuel, and other senior officials.
This infrastructure upgrade aims to enhance electricity reliability and water access in the area, supporting ongoing development and social welfare initiatives in Kolathur.
