Ceigall Infra Projects, has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) for a major highway project by National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
The contract, involves the construction of four-laning of the Sahebganj–Areraj–Bettiah stretch of NH 139W in Bihar, covering a total length of 78.942 km. The work is divided into two sections: Section 1 from Sahebganj to Areraj (38.362 km) and Section 2 from Areraj to Bettiah (40.580 km). The hybrid annuity mode (HAM) contract includes a construction period of 24 months, followed by a 15-year operation and maintenance period, at an estimated cost of Rs 2,160 crore.
This highway project will enhance connectivity in Bihar, improve traffic flow, and support regional development by providing modern, high-capacity road infrastructure.
