MP Border Checkpost Development Company, a subsidiary of IL&FS Transportation Networks, has been issued a Provisional Completion Certificate to commercially operate one more checkpost namely, Ujjain-Jhalawar (M-3) Border Checkpost with effect from 10 April, 2015.
The company had been mandated the development of 24 Border Checkposts by the MP Road Development Corporation.
This is in addition to the existing two Central Control Facility (CCF Gwalior and CCF Indore) and 11 Border Checkposts already in operation at Agra-Mumbai, Indore-Ahmedabad, Shivpuri-Kota, Betul-Nagpur, Indore-Icchapur, Mhow-Neemuch, Jabalpur-Jaipur, Seoni-Nagpur, Chindwara-Nagpur, Kabirchabutra, Sagar-Kanpur for which Provisional Completion Certificate has been issued and in operation as of date.
The project is fee based with a Concession period of 12 and half years.
