The construction of a 290-mtrs.-long Bajrang Path in Ayodhya has seen about 45 percent of work completion, as per the Ayodhya administration. The Bajrang Path, seven mtrs. wide, will also integrate with Sugriv Path and Rampath, creating a more connected network of pilgrim routes across Ayodhya. However, construction has faced challenges due to land disputes, with about 150 mtrs. of the path still pending. Officials are actively working on resolving the issue, and once settled, the remaining construction is expected to be completed within a month.
Presently, only 55 percent of the total work remains. On regular days, Hanuman Garhi welcomes around one lakh devotees, while the Ram temple sees 70,000 to 80,000 visitors.
Ayodhya already features three significant pathways: Ram Path, a 13 km road from Sahadatganj to Naya Ghat; Ram Janmabhoomi Path, a two-km stretch from Sugriv Quila to Ram Mandir; and Bhakti Path, an 850-mtrs. route from Shringar Hat to Sri Ram Janmabhoomi. The addition of Bajrang Path is part of broader infrastructure improvements designed to enhance the pilgrim experience in the sacred city.
