B.G Shirke has been appointed as contractor for the City & Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra's mass housing scheme project at Sector-16, Kharghar in Navi Mumbai. The work order was received in January 2008.

The contract will be executed in three packages:

• Design and construction of 1136 nos KH-1 and KH-2 type tenements under Mass Housing scheme. To view tender click here.

Preliminary survey on land was underway and the project is scheduled for completion by January 2010. The bids for KH-1 and KH-2 type tenements were invited on 5 March 2007 and bids for KH-III type and KH-IV type tenements were invited on June 2007.
