DCM Textiles has embarked on a Rs.70 crore
capacity expansion plant that would increase its spinning capacity by 60 per
cent.
The expansion plan would be made in two phases.
In Phase I, the company would add 14,000 spindles to its existing 45,000
spindles. In Phase II, another 14,000 spindles will be added. Phase I is already
underway.
The expansion, which will take place at the Hisar
plant in Haryana, will be financed entirely through debt.
DCM Textiles manufactures 100 per cent grey
cotton yarn and melange yarns, which are mainly used in knitting fabrics and
weaving terry towels. The company supplies mainly to garment and terry towel
manufacturers.

as Hissar Textile Mills in 1956.
