DMR Hydroengineering & Infrastructures, in collaboration with Fichtner Germany, has secured a contract for engineering consultancy services for the preparation of the detailed project report (DPR) of the Aruna Pumped Storage Project (PSP), with a planned capacity of 1,950 MW.

The work awarded by THDC India is located in Maharashtra. The total time allocated for completing the consultancy work, valued at Rs 8.82 crore is 13.5 months from the date of award.DMR Hydroengineering’s role as the lead partner, along with Fichtner’s global expertise, underscores a collaborative approach to large-scale energy infrastructure development in India.

The Aruna PSP aims to contribute significantly to the state’s renewable energy and energy storage capacity by managing peak load demands, providing grid stability, and supporting the integration of solar and wind power.
