1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

DPIIT signs MoU with Ather Energy to strengthen EV manufacturing ecosystem

The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Ather Energy, a leading Indian electric vehicle manufacturer, to bolster India’s clean mobility and advanced manufacturing ecosystem.

This strategic partnership falls under the Startup Policy Forum’s ‘Build in Bharat’ initiative, which includes over 50 innovation-driven startups. The MoU aims to accelerate growth in the electric mobility space by offering strategic mentorship to deep-tech startups, developing infrastructure for the EV value chain, launching joint innovation programs like the Bharat Startup Grand Challenge, and conducting talent development and on-ground exposure programs.

Additionally, DPIIT and Ather Energy will jointly participate in events such as Startup Mahakumbh to drive visibility and collaboration. The MoU was signed in the presence of Shri Sanjiv Singh, Joint Secretary, DPIIT, and Tarun Mehta, Co-founder and CEO, Ather Energy. The initiative is a significant step in India’s transition to sustainable transportation and aims to empower startups working in EV manufacturing, battery innovation, and clean energy technologies.
