De Heus India, part of De Heus Animal Nutrition, has opened a state-of-the-art animal feed factory in Rajpura, Punjab, with an investment of around USD 17 million.
The facility, one of the largest in India, boasts an installed capacity of 1,80,000 tonne, expandable to 240,000 tonne, and features separate production lines for cattle, buffalo, poultry, and pig feed. Utilizing advanced European technology and automation, it aims to deliver high-quality nutrition. The inauguration on 01 October, 2025, was attended by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Dutch Ambassador Marisa Gerards, government officials, and De Heus leadership.

Chairman Mr. Co De Heus emphasised the company’s dedication to sharing global expertise and fostering sustainable growth in India’s livestock sector.
