Deepak Nitrite's wholly-owned subsidiary, Deepak Chem Tech, has begun operations at its new Rs 515-crore nitric acid plant in Nandesari, Vadodara district, Gujarat.
This facility, which became operational on 04 December, 2025, will strengthen the company’s backward and forward integration capabilities. It is expected to enhance the supply security for key intermediates and support greater resilience across Deepak Nitrite’s chemical value chain. The new plant plays a crucial role in boosting production capacity and meeting growing demand for nitric acid in the chemicals industry.
The company emphasised that the plant will bolster its competitive edge.
