Dilip Buildcon has been awarded a letter of award (LOA) for the MDO contract for the development and operation of the Pottangi Bauxite Mines.

This contract includes the construction and operation of the overland conveyor corridor (OLCC), road infrastructure, water intake facilities, and mining and transportation works. The initial scope of the project covers the first three years, which involves setting up essential infrastructure like the OLCC, road networks, and water facilities. Following the first phase, the contract extends for a total of 25 years, with the mining operations to continue for the remaining 22 years, aiming for an estimated output of 3,250 tons per year.

The project will play a key role in ensuring efficient transportation and resource management at the bauxite mines, which are critical for India's growing industrial needs. This order strengthens Dilip Buildcon's position in the mining and infrastructure sector, further expanding its portfolio in large-scale development projects.
