Dilip Buildcon (DBL) has announced the receipt of a letter of acceptance (LoA) for a road infrastructure contract in Kerala, marking another milestone in its growing national portfolio. The project involves the construction of a twin-tube unidirectional tunnel with two lanes in each traffic direction, along with a four-lane approach road, providing direct connectivity between Anakkampoyil–Kalladi–Meppadi in the Kozhikode and Wayanad districts.
Awarded on an engineering, procurement & construction (EPC) basis, the stretch spans from km 0.460 to km 8.735, covering a total length of 8.275 km (Package-II). The total order value is Rs 1,341 crore (including GST). The project aims to enhance regional connectivity and reduce travel time between key areas, contributing to economic and logistical development in Kerala’s hilly terrain.
Known for its engineering prowess in complex infrastructure projects, DBL’s involvement is expected to ensure timely and quality delivery. The execution timeline for the project is 48 months, from the date of commencement. This contract reinforces Dilip Buildcon’s reputation as a leader in executing large-scale infrastructure projects across India.
