Divi's Laboratories, a leading pharmaceutical company, has started commercial operations at its Unit III greenfield project in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, effective 01 January, 2025. This marks a significant milestone for the company in its efforts to expand its manufacturing capabilities and cater to the growing demands of the pharmaceutical sector.

The Unit III project is strategically located on a 500-acre site in Kakinada, with Phase I of the development covering 200 acres. This phase of the project has been executed with an estimated investment ranging between Rs 1,200 crore and Rs 1,500 crore. The facility is expected to play a critical role in enhancing Divi's Labs' production capacity and  consolidating its position as a key player in the global pharmaceutical market.
