1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

EPC contractor soon for Meenakshi Group's 540 MW power project

The EPC contractor for Meenakshi Group's 540 MW coal based power unit at Thammenapatnam Village, Chillukar in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh is likely to be finalised by May 2008.

The project to be implemented in two phases, will have four units of 135 MW each, with an investment of Rs.2,678.40 crore. Development Consultant is appointed as the consultant for the project.

Land acquisition for the project is completed and pre-construction & infrastructure development activities are in progress. Ministry of Environment & Forest approved the Terms of Reference which is submitted by the company. Other statutory clearances and environmental clearance is expected to receive shortly.

Environmental Impact Assessment study of the proposed power project is completed and the reports will be received shortly. Meenakshi Group has already signed a memorandum of understanding with PTC India for the sale of power.

Work on the 4x135 MW power project is likely to commence work in July 2009 with completion scheduled by 2010.
