Gujarat Fluorochemicals, a part of the INOX Group of Companies, is expanding fluorospeciality chemicals capacity from 22,320 tpa to 46,800 tpa at its unit at Ranjit Nagar village in Panchmahal district of Gujarat.
The project will also include installation of incinerator to their existing refrigerant gas. The project will see an investment to the tune of Rs 100 crore. The project had received terms of reference (ToR) in July 2016. However, the company had to wait for two years to get environmental clearance to begin work.
Finally, after receiving a green nod from the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) in October 2018, the company has recently commenced work on the project, as per the latest developments gather by Projects Today. Moreover, the work on the project is expected to be completed by January 2019.
