Hyderabad-based Fabex Steel Structures has inaugurated a Rs 120 crore manufacturing facility in Chityal, as part of its business expansion strategy.

Spread across 40 acres, the plant has a production capacity of 50,000 tonne, increasing the company’s total capacity to 1,00,000 tonne. Fabex’s first plant in Vijayawada serves both domestic and export markets. The company plans to invest an additional Rs 100 crore over the next two to three years for automation, product diversification, and to enhance manufacturing capabilities. The new facility will focus on producing pre-engineered buildings (PEBs) for industrial applications such as factories, warehouses, and logistics infrastructure.

With plans to diversify into new segments, Fabex targets Rs 1,000 crore in revenue within three years, up from Rs 463 crore in 2024-25. The company also aims to double its workforce from 400 to 800 employees as it scales operations.
