Industries Minister TRB Rajaa laid the foundation stone for ‘The Cube’, a Rs 280-crore Grade-A office located in the FinTech City at Nandambakkam on 27 November, 2025.
The Minister also announced that the 2.26-acre FinTech Tower, part of the state's Fintech City project, being developed by TIDCO, is approaching completion, and is expected to be inaugurated by Chief Minister MK Stalin in January. Developed by TIDCO, the 2.26-acre Fintech Tower, costing Rs 240 crore, is nearly complete. The 5.5-lakh-sq. ft. facility will cater to fintech and financial services companies expanding in Tamil Nadu. During the event, Chennai’s growing appeal as a hub for global capability centres (GCCs) was highlighted, emphasising that Chennai offers a clean environment and better quality of life.
Additionally, the development of The Cube, a Rs 280-crore Grade-A office space, was also discussed, underscoring Chennai's increasing prominence in the global real estate market. Tishman Speyer and Axis Commercial Real Estate Fund are leading this project, designed for BFSI tenants.
