A significant step toward enhancing technology-driven education in Bihar was marked by the laying of foundation stone for the Satyendra Narayan Sinha AI Centre at Magadh University, Bodh Gaya.
The ceremony was graced by Arif Mohammed Khan, Governor of Bihar, and Harivansh Narayan Singh, Deputy Chairperson of the Rajya Sabha, with the presence of Magadh University ViceChancellor Shri Shashi Pratap Shahi. The centre, being constructed by NBCC, is envisioned as a Centre of Excellence for Artificial Intelligence, aimed at fostering regional innovation and increasing employment opportunities. It will feature a comprehensive Department of Artificial Intelligence, offering courses at various levels.
The project also honors the legacy of Satyendra Narayan Sinha, the university’s founder and former Chief Minister of Bihar, while propelling the institution towards a future of technological advancement and academic excellence.
