1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

Foundation stone laid for Sewri-Worli Elevated Corridor, other key projects launched

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray laid the foundation stone of Sewri-Worli Elevated Corridor (SWEC) and inaugurated C-arm of the flyover at Kalanagar Junction and other developmental works on 21 February 2021. 
 
The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) is implementing six-lane Mumbai Trans Harbour Link Project (MTHL) having a length of 22 km.  
 
The total length of the Sewri-Worli Elevated Corridor is about 4.5 km and will cater to four-lane traffic coming from MTHL Project. 
 
Administrative approval for the project amounting to Rs 1,276 crore has been accorded in 147th meeting of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) Authority. 
 
The Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA) and the Maharashtra State Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA) accorded approval to the project in their 145th meeting of MCZMA held on 7 July 2020 and 205th meeting held on 8 September 2020 respectively. 
 
In a move to decongest the Kalanagar Junction, the construction of flyover was proposed by the MMRDA and the work contract was awarded on 2 February 2017. 
 
In this project, a two-lane flyover from Bandra Worli Sea Link towards Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) of about 715 mtr long (B-arm) and two-lane flyover from BKC to Bandra Worli Sea Link of about 604 mtr (C-arm) is proposed. Moreover, a two-lane free left arm flyover having length of about 310 mtr is proposed from Dharavi to Worli Sea Link (D-arm). 
 
The CM also inaugurated a cycle track as part of the project of the refurbishment of footpaths and road junctions in the G block of BKC. This is a pilot project and bifurcated into two phases. The tendered cost for Phase-1 is Rs 18.11 crore and Phase-2 is Rs 14.12 crore. 
 
The project includes improving eight junctions and in-between streets at G-Block of BKC to have enhanced facilities like a protected cycle track, clutter-free pedestrian realm. Of the total scope, four junctions and streets between them are planned to be completed by April 2021. 
 
Apart from this, smart parking at BKC was also inaugurated. Owners of the vehicles can book their parking space minimum three hours before parking of the vehicle through mobile app and also website in the nearest parking slot in BKC. 
 
In the parking slot, minimum three e-bikes would be available for the movement of vehicle owners for moving in the surrounding area of about three km from parking slots after parking of the vehicle.
