Chief Minister of Jharkhand Raghubar Das and Union Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Steel Dharmendra Pradhan laid the foundation stones of the Bharat Petroleum Corporation’s (BPCL) two projects on 11 August 2019 in Bokaro, Jharkhand.
BPCL will set up an LPG bottling plant and petroleum, oil and lubricants (POL) terminal. The Rs 350 crore infrastructure projects are expected to create employment for 1,000 people.
The state government has allotted 20 acre of land to BPCL in Bokaro Industrial Estate for the project. The POL project, which will come up at Radhanagar, is expected to complete in 2021-22.
