Ganesh Infraworld has entered the mining operations segment by securing a contract for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of heavy mining equipment in Madhya Pradesh.
The order worth Rs 708.00 crore, with a completion timeline of 24 months, marks the company’s expansion from EPC into mining and infrastructure services. The sub-contract entails comprehensive O&M services for a wide fleet of equipment, including excavators, drills, dozers, graders, tippers, water sprinklers, and pumps at the Nigahi Mine in Singrauli. The scope of work covers routine and preventive maintenance, major repairs, supply of spares and consumables, statutory compliance, and the deployment of skilled manpower to ensure safe and uninterrupted operations.
This milestone highlights Ganesh Infraworld’s capability to manage large-scale, critical assignments while positioning it strongly in the mining services domain. The move is seen as a strategic diversification that enhances the Company’s presence in high-value, long-term infrastructure-linked projects.
