Godrej Properties, a leading real estate developer, acquired 14 land parcels across key Indian cities during FY 2024–25, targeting residential projects with a revenue potential of Rs 26,500 crore, significantly exceeding its guidance of Rs 20,000 crore.
Chairperson Pirojsha Godrej expressed optimism about maintaining this momentum and hinted at surpassing the same target in the current fiscal as well. These land acquisitions were made outright and span major urban regions including the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Delhi-NCR, Pune, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, and Indore. The company purchased five land parcels in the Delhi-NCR region alone, particularly three in Gurugram and two in Greater Noida, expected to generate nearly Rs 14,000 crore in revenue.
Other purchases include two each in MMR, Bengaluru, and Indore, and one each in Pune, Ahmedabad, and Kolkata. The company continues to adopt a dual strategy of outright land buys and partnerships with landowners to fuel its business development.
Godrej Properties, which primarily focuses on group housing, has also expanded into plotted developments in tier-II cities. Looking ahead, the company plans to launch projects worth Rs 40,000 crore during FY26, reinforcing its strong growth trajectory and bullish outlook, especially in Delhi-NCR.
