Grew Solar announced plans to expand its solar photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturing capacity to 11 GW at its Dudu facility in Jaipur, up from its existing 6.5 GW.
The company will also boost its PV cell production to eight GW in Narmadapuram (Madhya Pradesh). This expansion is part of its roadmap supported by a recent Rs 300 crore fundraise, with completion set for 2026. CEO Vinay Thadani emphasised the company’s focus on combining advanced technology with efficient execution to strengthen India’s renewable energy leadership.
Additionally, Grew Solar launched its G12R High-Power Series, capable of delivering up to 635 Wp, designed to enhance utility-scale efficiency, reduce module count, and lower balance of system (BOS) costs. The series boasts better container power density and increased power per sq. mtrs. compared to standard modules. National Institute of Solar Energy 's (NISE) Mohammad Rihan commended the company for setting high benchmarks in technology and quality. Grew Solar's COO Hardip Singh highlighted the importance of operational excellence in achieving this goal.
