Gujarat Ambuja Exports (GAEL) on 02 March, 2024, successfully commissioned a 120 tpd liquid glucose unit at its existing unit in Malda, West Bengal.

With this expansion, the collective liquid glucose capacity now reaches 900 TPD across five locations. Gujarat Ambuja Exports is involved in the agro-processing business, predominantly in maize products and edible oils. It competes in the domestic and global markets and caters to food, pharmaceutical and feed industry.

In other projects,GAEL is setting up a starch unit (Unit-III) with capacity of 1,000 tpd at Sitarganj in Udham Singh Nagar district of Uttarakhand, with around 95 percent work on the project having been completed.  It is also manufacturing Sorbitol with a capacity of 120 tpd at Hulasoggi village, Shiggaon Taluka in Haveri district of Karnataka. The project will spread over 54 acres of land.
