HBL Engineering has received a contract worth Rs 575 crore from Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai, for the supply, testing, and commissioning of On-board KAVACH equipment (Version 4.0).
The contract is set to be completed within 12 months. The KAVACH system, which is an advanced train collision avoidance technology, will be supplied and integrated into ICF’s rolling stock to enhance safety measures. The company will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery, installation, and commissioning of the equipment. The scope will involve thorough testing to meet the required safety and performance standards.
With this contract, HBL Engineering has further solidified its presence in the railway engineering and technology domain, especially in providing safety solutions for Indian Railways.
