RailTel Corporation of India has received a letter of acceptance (LoA) from the Modern Coach Factory, Raebareli.
The scope of work includes the supply, installation, and commissioning of an IP-based Video Surveillance System in LHB coaches, following the RDSO specifications. The contract covers a three-year warranty and an additional five years of comprehensive annual maintenance contract (CAMC). The estimated value of the order is approx. Rs 94.23 crore, and is to be completed by 28 January, 2034.
The order strengthens RailTel's involvement in enhancing security for Indian Railways' LHB coaches.
