Seven months after establishing its first delivery centre in Kerala at Infopark Kochi, HCLTech has inaugurated its second unit at Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram. The new facility will focus on emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), GenAI, and cloud computing.
The earlier Kochi unit, launched in October 2024, emphasises Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) solutions catering to sectors like medical, automobile, and semiconductors. Kerala’s Industries Minister P Rajeeve expressed optimism about the development, highlighting HCLTech’s expanding interest in Kerala due to its talent pool and infrastructure.
The initiative strengthens Kerala’s growing role in India’s tech-driven industrial ecosystem, and could attract further investment and employment in the state. Executives from HCLTech and Allianz Technology, including Special Secretary Seeram Sambasiva Rao, also attended the inauguration.
