HG Infra Engineering has signed a battery energy storage purchase agreement with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam (GUVNL), through its wholly-owned subsidiary, HG Choraniya Bes.
This agreement, inked on 28 November, 2025, is for the procurement of a 300 MW/600 MWh battery energy storage system on a long-term basis. HG Infra had previously secured 500 MW/1,000 MWh of battery storage capacity in GUVNL’s Phase VI auction.
In addition to this, last week, HG Infra Engineering, along with Kalpataru Projects International (holding 40 percent share), was declared the lowest bidder by Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation for a Rs 1,415 crore project. This move further strengthens the company's position in the infrastructure and energy sectors.
